WP leader BRE
Task leader Task 7.1: Björn Schouenborg, SP
Task 7.2: Bent Grelk, Rambøll

Task 7.4: Björn Schouenborg, SP
Contents Task 7.1: Laboratory testing for bowing
Task 7.2: In-situ testing on existing panels
Task 7.3: Test field for bowing
Task 7.4: Positive side-effects
Objective The main objective of this WP is to assess if surface impregnating/surface coating treatments can reduce bowing and deterioration in cladding panels and if so, under what circumstances they can be applied. It will also assess information about whether physical effects can be ameliorated – particularly strengthen stone and reduce water absorption.
Background The partners experience from field investigation and inspection of buildings. Many years of experience with maintenance and repair works connected to natural stone claddings.
